Something New, Something Old: Everything Purple and Gold.

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas--More than 10,000 PVAMU alumni, students, faculty, staff and supporters will converge on the campus of Prairie View A&M University for its 2009 Homecoming celebration, which will include a week-long schedule of exciting events. This year’s theme “Something New, Something Old, EVERYTHING Purple & Gold” will feature several events and entertaining concerts and programs that will welcome alumni and former students back to campus. The events of the week will culminate with a Homecoming parade, football game against Mississippi Valley State and a step-show on Sat. Oct. 17.

The Prairie View A&M University National Alumni Association maintains a database of alumni and donor records to maximize efficiency and provide service to our donors. This database is private and access is strictly controlled to development and administrative staff of these organizations only.

Information Collection

The Prairie View A&M University National Alumni Association collects information from public sources, postal records and gift processing to continuously update and manage our database. Information provided by donors to The Prairie View A&M University National Alumni Association is also maintained in our database.

Information Sharing

The Prairie View A&M University National Alumni Association shares information, through its database, with Prairie View A&M University.

The Prairie View A&M University National Alumni Association  "partners" with corporations for the purposes of providing benefits to alumni and friends. Partners are allowed limited contact information for the purposes of promoting said benefits. Under no circumstances does the Association provide or sell alumni and friend information to any entity for political solicitation. In addition, private information such as social security numbers and gift information are not shared with partners or any other entity.

The Prairie View A&M University National Alumni Association respects requests for anonymity, and will not publicize donors or contributions that wish to remain anonymous.

Names and addresses of scholarship or professorship donors are provided, upon request, to student and faculty recipients who wish to thank these donors for their support.

The Prairie View A&M University National Alumni Association is a public association and, as such, is not subject to the same information disclosure requirements as Prairie View A&M University, which is a state entity. However, the Prairie View A&M University National Alumni Association will respond to legal requests for information.

The Prairie View A&M University National Alumni Association  uses the latest technologies in record-keeping security to ensure the privacy of your information.
